In depth

Verdict

Beyondtemptation is back in form and has won six of her 22 previous starts around here. Jonathan Haynes’ mare will make a bold bid to lead from pillar to post again but is only one of five previous course and distance winners in the line-up. Talkofgold got back to winning ways at Ayr earlier this month but Ryedale Racer has had another break since finishing unplaced on his sole start this season. Stoney Rover looks too high in the weights while Niceandeasy, two from two around here, is having a first run for Nick Alexander. GLINGER FLAME twice ran well in defeat at Ayr in January. He now makes his handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces and has the scope to improve past these. Pieceoftheaction was placed in a maiden here 12 days ago but probably needs more in this.
