Verdict

APACHE PILOT is bidding for a third course victory and arrives in top form having chased home Hattons Hill earlier this month after beating Frank The Slink over course and distance. The latter is much better off at the weights today but Maurice Barnes’ charge can still confirm the form. Micky Hammond also runs Treat Yourself but he has to concede weight all round. Ballygrooby Bertie is on the same mark as when second at Musselburgh in December and may have needed a hurdles run at Perth but Down Time and Lakefield Rebel will need to improve on recent efforts to figure.
