Verdict

Dontdelay was out of the handicap when winning this last year under today's rider. He's 5lb wrong in the weights again this time and hasn't had a prep run but has to be respected. Ballymagroarty Boy hasn't been further than 3m2f but wasn't stopping over that trip at Chepstow last month. Buddha Scheme won a 3m novice chase here last October and returned to action here last month when attempting to make all. However, he was easily passed by MCGINTY'S DREAM who then defied an 8lb rise on a return visit. He's up another 11lb and has never been over the trip but is in such good form that he looks the one to beat. Shanroe Street hasn't won since March 2018 but is generally thereabouts at this level.
