In depth

Verdict

Many of these are regulars here and frequent opponents. Apache Pilot is bidding for a fourth course victory and is in good form. Chicago Outfit has won six times on the track and would be thereabouts on his defeat of fellow veteran GIBBSTOWN here in April. But Paul Stafford’s mare is now 5lb better and she, too, has scored over course and distance in the past. Shine Away is better over shorter trips and it’s impossible to have much faith in stablemate Dartford Warbler nowadays. My Escapade tackles 3m for the first time and this is a stiff track but a return to 3m should suit Market Rasen runner-up Follow The Swallow.
