      Verdict

River Tigris can make the most of her age allowance to score at the expense of Ruggtah, Posh Stick and Uneven Line. More and more trainers are cottoning on to the fact that four-year-olds get a hefty allowance from their elders when sent chasing, and the system looks worth following again here. River Tigris has yet to show anything in three outings over timber, but she is sure to have been well schooled, and in addition steps up to a more suitable trip. Like many more of Pipe's inmates that make the transition from hurdling, she could well be a blot on the handicap and this contest does not appear as though it will take much winning. Ruggtah has been hunter-chasing and returns to rules potentially well-treated as well, so could be a threat, while Posh Stick has only won going right-handed so far, but did not run too badly here 12 days ago. Uneven Line is no great shakes and will be better for the run, so for the winner we return to the unexposed River Tigris.
