In depth

Verdict

PURCELL'S BRIDGE ran well on his first start last season off this mark and later won at Haydock. He looks the one to beat in this, even though stablemate Smuggler's Stash won over course and distance last year and also scored at Carlisle in April. Allez Cool and Kilcullen Flem have a chance at the weights but Indian Voyage remains out of sorts. Green Flag hasn't won for a long time but is well treated as a result and Blair Campbell takes off a further 7lb.
