In depth

Verdict

DAME ROSE (NAP) won a Grade 2 mares' bumper at Aintree in April and can put her small stable on the map this winter if she takes to hurdles. Royal Flag is probably the danger today as though he, too, is making his hurdling debut he did win twice on the Flat, once over 2m, so should have few problems staying the trip. Getaway Bay was placed twice in points in April while Tetraites Style travelled strongly for a long way at Newcastle in March. The Linksman beat a decent hurdles winner in a Sedgefield bumper last December but hung badly and ran out at Musselburgh a month later.
