In depth

Verdict

Freedom Now has obvious claims and should prove hard to beat, with Classical Ben, Mister Moussac and Destino likely to fight it out for the places. Freedom Now has hit form with a vengeance lately, gaining easy back-to-back successes at Sedgefield and should be well up to defying a penalty. He has a good turn of foot, will go on the ground and gets the trip, so there is absolutely no reason why he should not score again. This future chaser is going to be a short price, but cannot be opposed. For the forecast, any one of three could be fancied, including dual bumper winner Classical Ben who comes from a very much in-form yard. He is sure to have been well schooled over hurdles but lacks a recent outing. Mister Moussac is a course and distance winner, having beaten the selection off level weights in June, when conditions where atrocious. He has gone off the boil since though and is higher in the weights as well. Destino is going the right way but needs to brush up his jumping, and all in all Freedom Now should be up to the task.
