In depth

Verdict

Aldiva was noted staying on strongly behind a couple of decent bumper horses on his debut at Kempton last month and will be fancied to open his account here. But it may be worth giving another chance to ACCORDINGTOEILEEN, who was very slowly away and then ran green on his introduction at Towcester. That didn't look a bad race and Nigel Twiston-Davies' six-year-old will know more today. Nicky Henderson's representatives are always to be feared in contests of this nature and his newcomer Mono Man is no exception, though he may need further in time.
