Verdict

Molanna View was well backed on his third start over hurdles at Kempton and likely to be in the firing-line here of what appears a decent mark. Sacco D'Oro is upped in grade, however, after springing a surprise at Southwell while Mariinsky was well beaten on his handicap debut at Taunton. MANNLICHEN has been keeping better company than this in his three starts to date over timber and has acquitted himself well. He's been put up 4lb for finishing second at Towcester but that may not stop Venetia Williams' five-year-old from opening his account today.
