In depth

Verdict

Terrible Tenant, Pollensa Bay and Pequenita look the three to concentrate on in this handicap chase and the nomination is given to Terrible Tenant. The selection won well last time out when beating Tosawi and although he has a penalty for that win it was an improved performance and he is taken to defy the handicapper with conditions again in his favour. Pollensa Bay rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Sweet Diversion especially as this shorter trip is sure to suit. Pequenita has been in good form over hurdles of late and is sure to have been well schooled for her return to fences but all her best efforts have come on very soft ground and this faster surface may just catch her out. Bell Lane Lad is another that could go well he has definite place claims on his form of a couple of years ago and if he is fit after a long absence he would be a danger to all but the suspicion is he may come on for the run. Of the remainder Moorland Monarch is from a shrewd yard and looks to be on a handy mark so should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Terrible Tenant.
