In depth

Verdict

In what is a very modest race, the market will probably plenty of clues but, without that, Gigantes is nominated ahead of Harissa. Flat-bred and quite well-related, Gigantes, whose trainer has been among the winners this week, has to get a mention, while Harissa made late headway and, accordingly, showed some promise on her debut at Fakenham, so gets a solid mention in the context of this race too. The same stable also runs Kandora. Rudinero hails from a decent yard and also has something to like on breeding, although he is one of two Heather Dalton's runners in the race but, for the selection, we will stick with Gigantes.
