Verdict

Marcel, Lyrical Way and Miami Explorer are three against the field in a competitive opener and the confident vote goes to Marcel. The selection is improving with each run and won well last time out when defeating Critical Stage and although he has a double penalty for his last two wins he looks an above average sort for this time of year and he is taken to win again under conditions that suit. Lyrical Way rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Eastwell Violet and he is sure to improve but he will need to do so to defeat there selection. Miami Explorer is another that could go well he was a fair second behind Galey River last time but he has had plenty of chances and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Groesfaen Lad is another with place claims but he has given the impression he will be seen to better effect over further and for the winner we return to Marcel.
