Verdict

Regiment battled on well to score at Warwick when an unfancied outsider of three but life will be tougher in this company and YOU'RE FIRED has plenty to recommend him. A winner on Polytrack at Kempton, the son of Firebreak performed with a great deal of credit at Doncaster on reappearance and gave every indication that he will relish tonight's extra furlong. King Of Macedon takes a drop in grade having taken on better opposition and he seems likely to make his experience count. Xanthos was highly tried as a juvenile and is proven over further. Former Godolphin hope, Wickhambrook, may have required his first outing at Lingfield and the booking of Kieren Fallon appears to be particularly significant on this occasion. Zain Zone won an Epsom maiden for Gerard Butler and has placed in both starts for Ruth Carr so far.
