Verdict

The eye is inevitably drawn to the booking of Richard Hughes aboard Three Peaks but Charlie Hills' colt didn't find a great deal at Thirsk and he appears one to have reservations about at present. L'IMPORTANTE realised 20,0000 euros as a yearling, and though he has proved anything but straightforward in his two previous outings, we will hope that the hood can unlock some of his very obvious potential. Abbey Village is a half-brother to the smart Wootton Bassett though Richard Fahey's inmate has struggled to live up to his sibling in two maidens so far. Mount Shamsan has a pedigree that suggests he'll cope with soft ground but he needs to be forgiven a modest run at Thirsk a fortnight ago. Plenty was anticipated of Outlawed ahead of a belated debut at Wolverhampton, so he, along with Above The Rest should be monitored closely in the market.
