In depth

Verdict

Rule Maker was only just beaten on debut but this step up in trip doesn't seem an obvious plus so instead we turn to REALITY SHOW with Mataaleb also on the list after a much improved effort. Bred for this trip the pick was the eye-catcher in the finish over a slightly shorter trip on debut. He should know his job better this time and the yard have had plenty of winners recently. Rule Maker only found the one too good on his first run but given he was only collared late over a shorter trip the step up in distance would seem counter productive. Mataleeb left his juvenile debut behind by finding just one the better on his first start this season. The winner of that race has gone on to win a valuable handicap so with the form looking strong and more expected he should go close. Cotillion is the benchmark but is looking exposed in this company so with the Godolphin runners from this stable going well we like Reality Show.
