In depth

Verdict

Zalzilah may not have finished winning yet judged on his latest second at Ascot in similar company. But he's unlikely to get his way up front with Deeds Not Words chasing a hat-trick and Secret Romance stepping up in class after making all at Bath. The likely blistering pace could play into the hands of MONTAIGNE, who hasn't raced since a fourth at Ascot back May but should figure if primed for action on his return. Lexington Rose beat Proclamationofwar at Musselburgh but both were well beaten in the Super Sprint at Newbury last time while recent winners One Boy and Jamboree Girl have much more on their plate in this.
