In depth

Verdict

THE NEPHEW was given a patient ride by Richie McLernon to score at Uttoxeter last Sunday. He may have been value for more than the official margin as he made a hash of the third-last when closing on the leaders and took a while to find his stride again. A follow-up looks likely under a penalty as it remains to be seen if Inandover will build on his debut third over fences at Southwell. Civil Unrest didn't stay 3m1f at Market Rasen but has won over this trip. He continues to tumble down the handicap but is difficult to predict though still makes more appeal than the disappointing Himrayn and maiden Neverownup.
