DUKE COSIMO (NAP) was a fair fourth at Ayr last week when ahead of both Sir Billy Wright and Englishman. He can race off a pound lower mark here so gets the vote, though this is another very competitive handicap. Memories Galore has yet to win on Turf but was a good third in a valuable handicap at Newcastle in June. Edward Lewis has yet to run a bad race but is 4lb higher than when second over course and distance at the start of the month. Spring Fling has fared even worse having been raised 6lb since her second at Newbury. Misterioso and Primrose Valley have a chance at the weights but Shore Step remains out of sorts.
