A wide-open sprint with several apparently closely matched on recent form. Judicial beat Lightscameraction at Chester with Blithe Spirit, Confessional and Powerallied further behind but was well behind Humidor and Harry Hurricane in the Portland at Doncaster. Only half-a-length separated the latter pair and they meet on the same terms. Lincoln will have to carry a penalty if turning up but he's hit form with a vengeance and followed up a smooth win at Ayr with another at Pontefract on Thursday. EAST STREET REVUE has made huge strides since only beating one home here in July. He likes to hear his hooves rattle so any rain would be a negative but he must go well if it stays dry. Bashiba and Waseem Faris are consistent while Dutch Masterpiece is looking dangerously well handicapped nowadays. Robot Boy also has a squeak.
