    Verdict

WINSLOW made a promising start at Ascot when beaten less than a length by Moonraker. The Godolphin colt is preferred to Chester third Hell Of A Lord and may have enough to hold off some interesting newcomers. The latter group are led by the £210,000 yearling Baitha Alga and Revolutionist, a half-brother to dual Group 1 winner Librettist. Markaz is related to the smart sprinter Mecca's Angel while Ustinov is a half-brother to the useful pair Melody Of Love and Lustrous.
