Verdict

Buck Mulligan doesn't win very often and is probably a few pounds too high at present, though should make the frame. BINCOMBE jumped well when scoring at Chepstow four weeks ago and, though 10lb higher, can complete a double for the Hobbs/Johnson combination that's had plenty of winners lately. Noble Legend, like the selection a course and distance winner, was knocking on the door prior to a poor run at Huntingdon while Auvergnat still has plenty of scope, though turned in a shocker last time at Stratford. Habbie Simpson is back over his best trip but may still come up short.
