Verdict

Ambivalent's second at York looks the best recent form on offer in this but Roger Varian's filly may not be entirely straightforward. Quiz Mistress disappointed at York after a promising reappearance in this grade at Newbury but Souviens Toi may be able to build on her first start for Marco Botti at Goodwood and Prussian was second in a Group 2 at Meydan in February, though has been well beaten in a couple of previous tries over this longer trip. NYMPHEA finished runner-up in last year's German Oaks and won a Listed contest at Baden Baden on her return. Providing she handles the quicker ground, she may be the one to beat as Peter Schiergen wouldn't have sent her over from Germany if he didn't fancy her chances. Jehannedarc is preferred to Moment In Time of the others.
