Irish Girls Spirit is in good form and must go well if taking part just 24 hours after running at Musselburgh. However, although RYLEE MOOCH (NAP) hasn't won for almost two years, he generally performs with credit and this looks his opportunity. He ran very well behind Slim Chance here last week and the winner came out and defied a penalty the following day. Sewn Up has won four times on the all-weather but is still a maiden on Turf after a dozen starts. He ran well in a slightly better race than this at Ayr last time but connections won't be happy that he keeps climbing the ratings. Simply Black landed a Newcastle maiden but had no answer to Traditionelle on Wolverhampton's Tapeta surface a week later. Bronze Beau was running off a 17lb higher mark a year ago and hasn't shown much for a long time.
