Tap Focus has looked one-paced over a mile and could be suited by the drop in trip but Kevin Manning has chosen the newcomer Super Focus, by the same sire but out of a moderate maiden. Devonshire hasn't quite had the pace to score over 6f though her close second to Itorio at Naas in June was a fine effort. Her pedigree suggests she should be a speedster so whether this extra furlong will suit is unknown. Blue Fragrance looks best of the remainder with experience but this can go to the newcomer SUNNY DAYS. Dermot Weld's filly is a half-sister to four winners and out of a winning miler so this trip looks just right for her as she makes her debut.
