    Verdict

Support for Meinardus, Heavenly Encounter and Mensardil as they join the rank and file would be of interest with Irish raider Optional Dream another worth noting. They've shown little in truth though so we'll plump for GLENVEAGH ahead of Stoneacre Chris who didn't shape too badly last time. Kevin Ryan's runner has provided one of the two victories that this thirteen strong field have managed between them in ninety attempts and, as such, has leading claims. He's risen 6lbs in the weights for that battling win but appeared to show some improvement for the fitting of cheekpieces and may be capable of better yet. Stoneacre Chris ran on quite well to take second in a similar contest at Ayr over five furlongs last time and could be well suited by this first crack at six. She's comfortably the most interesting of the opposition as things stand although the Swallow Forest is the other runner in the field to have won a race and she didn't run all that badly last time so we'll add her to the short-list. As far as the winner is concerned though, GLENVEAGH is the default option.
