In depth

Verdict

SARWIN is marginally preferred to Kalasam and Moheebb in a tight handicap. The lastnamed was a very impressive winner at Haydock so it's no surprise to see him turned out before his revised rating takes effect but the underfoot conditions are a concern. If the ground is no faster than good then he should go well but he could be in trouble if it is as he's never made the frame on anything faster. Kalasam was a shade unfortunate to bump into a gambled on winner at Nottingham but handles a variety of ground and is able to run from his old mark. He's only ever won once though so is difficult to put faith in. The handicapper knows exactly where he is with Sarwin after wins in April and May and he appeared to be held on merit at Redcar when returning a beaten favourite. He should, however, run his race and that may be enough to see Sarwin home.
