Irish Girls Spirit has a penalty for last weekend's course and distance victory which takes her onto a huge weight so it's no surprise that Paul Midgley turns to a 7lb claimer, who hasn't ridden her before. Supersta has only won once in 21 starts but should be doubling his tally soon from this sort of mark. Busy Bimbo shot up the weights after her Catterick victory and, though running well enough, has been unable to cope. Majestic Manannan doesn't win often but is back on the same mark as when last successful though the vote goes to AMIS REUNIS. Alan Berry's charge is better over an extra furlong but was in the lead at this trip before fading here last weekend and, surprisingly, can race from 6lb lower.
