        Verdict

        Montpellier, Melpomene and Silver Sail look the three to concentrate on in this trappy maiden and the vote is given to Melpomene. The selection was a fair second on his debut this season behind Burnt Oak, is proven under conditions and with his yard continuing in good form he looks the one to be on especially as the drop in trip also looks in his favour. Montpellier rates the main danger on his latest second behind Danski but he is more exposed than most and again at likely odds he looks worth taking on. Silver Sail is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Comprimiznotension and could improve for the fitting of first time cheekpices. The remainder have shown very little and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Melpomene.
