In depth

Verdict

Another competitive handicap for punters to fathom with many in good form but the main protagonists appear to be Imperialistic, Foxtrot Two and Baylaw Star and we will take a chance on Foxtrot Two. The colt from the in form Mark Tompkins yard is one of the least exposed in the field and he won well last time out when defeating Sheapys Lass. He will appreciate this extra furlong and he will be hard to beat with conditions again in his favour. Imperialistic rates the main danger he won well at Haydock before being a fair ninth in the Albany Stakes behind Silica's Gift, she is sure to go well despite giving weight to all her rivals. Baylaw Star won a claimer in good style on this course last time out when defeating Amber Legend but this is much more competitive. Of the remainder George The Best is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to stick with the unexposed Foxtrot Too.
