In depth

Verdict

A poor race with the majority hard to fancy but Sticky Green has definite claims on a second behind Birdie on her debut at Newcastle. The form was franked by the winner who landed the Oaks trial at Lingfield and Mick Channon's filly may be capable of further improvement over this trip. Decoy showed little in two maiden starts last season and looks one of his powerful yard's lesser lights while Iconium has not progressed so Polish Corridor, who reached ther frame in a fair Beverley handicap off 65 last time, rates the main danger.
