Verdict

A tough handicap to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights and with no pace guaranteed it throws another spanner in the works, however the principals look to be Grey Clouds, Tony Tie and Wahoo Sam and the tentative vote goes to Grey Clouds. The selection is fairly amiable as regards tactics and a reproduction of her latest second behind La Persiana would make her hard to beat despite rising in the weights. Tony Tie goes very well at the track and would not be far away on his best form but he is better when he gets a strong end to end gallop and with that not certain he is opposed on this occasion. Wahoo Sam is improving with each run and defeated Amthemion over course and distance last time out but he is rising in the weights and this looks much more competitive so he will need to improve again to score. Of the remainder War Owl would go close if the rain stayed away while Danelor has dropped to a handy mark and is from a shrewd yard so is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Grey Clouds.
