Verdict

Love Palace, Looks Could Kill and Ball Boy look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the narrow vote goes to Love Palace. The selection was a good second behind the well backed Gypsy Johnny on his debut. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and given nominal improvement he will be hard to beat. Looks Could Kill rates the main danger on his latest second behind Jonquil, he is another that is sure to have learnt from the experience and with the step up in trip sure to suit he will not be far away. Ball Boy is one of the most experiences in the field and showed improved form when second behind Banknote last time just being run out of it close home but he is not sure to be suited by the longer trip and for that reason he is overlooked. Of the remainder Jackadandy is another that is sure to improve but he may be one to watch later on in the season when he is qualified for nurserys and for the winner we return to Love Palace.
