      Verdict

Goninodaethat has won three races in his career, all at Ayr, and though never from a mark this high his young rider's claim is a major bonus. Orwellian was conceding Hab Reeh 2lb when gaining a shock victory here last month with Layla's Hero not far behind in third. The latter was hampered by a low draw and that's the case again so it's the runner-up who may do best of the trio this time. FLIGHTY CLARETS returned to action with a very good run at Newcastle under Samantha Bell and though Richard Fahey's filly could have done without a 3lb rise her young rider's claim will aid her cause and she can go one better. Eight Times winner Medici Time hasn't won since August 2012 but is now on his lowest mark since 2009 so he could still be capable of getting into the action.
