Verdict

ZA'LAN usually runs his race and is dropping down a grade having finished third in testing ground at Leicester three weeks ago. He gets the nod racing off the same mark in this lowly handicap. Luctor Emergo looks high enough in the weights and has something to prove over this longer distance, but it would be no surprise if Solar View shows his first worthwhile form stepping up a couple of furlongs today given his trainer's outstanding strike rate at this track. Oops Caroline finished a bit closer last time and looks best of the rest.
