In depth

Verdict

Berlios had ben threatening to win before landing a ladies' race at Ayr in good style and, with Simon Walker booked, will attract support. Epeius is 1-19 but ran well in a better race than this here in May while Miss Dd has been finding 5f too short so stepping up in trip looks the correct option. Bop It is gradually dropping to a winnable mark though is better on the all-weather these days so the vote goes to Irish raider THE MCGREGORNATOR (NAP). Adrian Keatley's charge has been racing on testing ground at home and is 11lb lower than his last victory at Naas last summer. He was beaten a short head in a Class 4 handicap on good going at Ayr so today's conditions can see a revival in fortunes.
