      Verdict

Buddhist Monk, Dea Caelestis and Dr Brass make most appeal here and the vote is given to Dea Caelestis. The selection is a very well-bred filly and she is worth another chance after a slightly disappointing effort on her seasonal reappearance. She may have needed the run that day so she should improve and if she does then she will be hard to beat. Buddhist Monk wasn't given a hard time on his debut when he chased home Valatrix over 6f at Yarmouth. The step-up in trip should suit and Sir Mark Prescott's 3-year-old can go well. Dr Brass has shaped with promise in two competitive maidens and he is dropped slightly in trip today. Andrew Balding has his string in good form at present so Lady Brora is another worth a mention on her racecourse bow. However, for the winner we will stick with Dea Caelestis.
