      Verdict

Auntie Mame, Stringsofmyheart and Montrachet are the trio to look at here, with the progressive Auntie Mame taken to complete a four timer. After winning three successive races on the all-weather, Stringsofmyheart was beaten on the Turf at Chepstow, finishing sixth despite being made favourite. He is four pounds higher here, and although returning to his favoured surface he is taken on. Montrachet won twice on the bounce last season on a testing surface, but a winless run since saw his handicap mark drop to allow him to run a close third in a valuable handicap . The handicapper has swiftly hiked him up another three pounds and he may have to settle for a place. In contrast, despite recently completing a hat-trick, Auntie Mame is only three pounds higher than her latest success at Bath. She is on the crest of a wave, and showed a liking for the all-weather when scoring at Kempton three outings ago. Auntie Mame can make it four in a row.
