In depth

Verdict

After an impressive debut Sir Mark Prescott's KIND HEART gets the vote in this Fillies Maiden over Fen Spirit and Celestial Dream. Bred to stay further than this Kind Heart returns to the track where she showed much promise during her first crack at competitive racing and stayed on well to land second place. Sir Mark's Juveniles often need a run to set them straight so expect great things from this run. Fen Spirit is one of the most experienced of the field and is steadily improving with every run. Trainer John Gosden will be hoping she goes one better than her last outing at Kempton where she finished second in slightly better company and she should be considered. Celestial Dream also has claims after her debut run. She is the second known foal of smart sprinter Lochangel and travelled really well in her first outing before fading and will have learned a lot from the experience but Kind Heart seems a nice sort and gets the vote.
