      Verdict

      Just five runners but an interesting race. Its conditions would appear to favour Sandy Lane who was staying on over seven furlongs at this track eight days ago and the step up to a mile could suit. Nimello, out of luck since running up a hat-trick of wins between March and May of last year, ought to be able to show up well on a surface he likes. Injaaz has shown little since a good fifth behind Independence at Ascot last summer but cannot be ruled out if back to that form. Finished Article, who is certainly not the best-in on official ratings, comes here in good form and has won at Goodwood. Just Nick is a course and distance winner but is held by Finished Article based on their course and distance runs nine days ago.
