In depth

Verdict

Prolific course winner Pettochside won over 5f here last time but has scored over track and trip before and has to come into the reckoning. Lady Dancealot won a novice race here in October and goes handicapping for the first time but GEORGE BOWEN is worth sticking with in this. He returned to form with a vengeance on fast ground at York last week when romping home by six lengths and Richard Fahey’s sprinter will take the beating if in the same mood. Sparkalot has been winning at Kempton this year and Open Wide has been thereabouts at Windsor recently while Raucous and Solar Flair slide further down the weights.
