In depth

Verdict

Ed Dunlop's Estihlal has run well off a similar mark in her last two starts and, having been a shade unlucky last time, is taken to resume winning ways at the main expense of Maddie's A Jem and Madrasee. The selection did not get the run of the race at Brighton last time and off the same mark looks worth another chance. The booking of Darryll Holland for the well-treated Madrasee takes the eye although a bigger threat may come from Maddie's A Jem. John Jenkins has his team in good form at present and this filly showed that her turn would not be far away when a close fourth behind the Wunderbra at Windsor last month. She rates a bigger danger than all-weather winner Woodbury who struggled off her new mark at Windsor last time. Dixie Dancing has claims if able to reproduce her Lingfield form back on turf, while it will be interesting to see if first time blinker shave the desired effect on Concubine. The booking of Kieren Fallon for Bella Tutrice takes the eye but for the vote we side with Estihlal.
