Verdict

A large field goes to post for this handicap and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Star of Canterbury Dimelight and Zizou and the narrow vote is given to Dimelight. The selection was a good second behind Fann last time out and although that was on soft ground he does have form on a faster surface and he is taken to score. Star Of Canterbury rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Bollin Derek but this looks more competitive and his penalty may just find him out. Zizou is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Bob's Your Uncle but he has yet to win over a trip this far and he looks opposable on that basis. Greenwich Village is unexposed and with his yard in form should be noted in the market. Of the others Black Beauty is in the form of his life but looks weighted up to the hilt and with this in mind for the winner we return to Dimelight.
