In depth

Verdict

Court Masterpiece gets the confident vote with Vortex and Meshaheer rating the main dangers in this open affair. The selection was a fair second behind Azarole last time out, but with a faster pace seeming assured here he will be hard to beat. Vortex rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Appalachian Trail. However, this looks more competitive and he will do well to win this giving weight all around. Meshaheer is another worthy of respect on his latest third behind Welsh Wind, especially as the step back up in trip should suit. Of the remainder Shot To Fame has place prospects on his best form but he disappointed last time out so can not be put forward with any confidence, and for the winner we return to Court Masterpiece in the hope that he gets the fast pace he needs to be seen at his best.
