In depth

Verdict

KALOPSIA completed a double in bumpers but has taken her time to get to grips with hurdles. But she jumped well enough when runner-up at Roscommon and this looks within her capabilities. Lettre de Cachet is obviously well regarded as she has been very highly tried since arriving from France. Two of her four runs over timber have been at Grade 1 level and the remaining pair also in pattern events. She hasn't run since May of last year but has to be kept on the right side. Scottish Academy was well beaten when third at Roscommon, though the heavy ground didn't help while, bumper winner The Green Lady has her first start over hurdles and has a long absence to overcome.
