Verdict

ZULU ALPHA, beaten a short-head on his debut over a mile in October, reappeared over 1m2f at Leopardstown last week and stayed on strongly to get within a length of Siamsaiocht. With the longer trip certain to suit, he can gain his first victory. Triplicate was sent to Dundalk for a belated racecourse debut a couple of weeks ago and the son of Galileo looked in need of the experience. He wasn't really suited by the track or 1m2f and this should be more to his liking so he's a live threat. Tony Martin has entered the unraced Jensen here and the half-brother to numerous winners is one to note for the future while Artiste Celebre should pick up some nice minor place money.
