Verdict

Quick Jack was due to run in yesterday's Galway Hurdle, which he won last year. His recent run in the Chester Cup, where he didn't get the best of runs, point to his obvious chances here. However, IVAN GROZNY looked on such good terms with himself when landing a Grade 3 hurdle at Tipperary earlier this month that Willie Mullins' charge, who didn't run badly over a trip too short in the Duke Of Edinburgh Handicap at Royal Ascot, can land the spoils. Good Tradition finished runner-up in this a year ago when odds-on but faces better opposition this time and never took to hurdling during the winter. His stable also run Zafayan, who was runner-up twice over hurdles at this fixture a year ago but well beaten on the Flat on Monday, as was Kalann.
