In depth

Verdict

This looks a competitive maiden for the time of year. J P McManus and Joseph O'Brien both had brilliant weeks at Listowel and Out Of The Blue will have come on massively for his run at Killarney. Roseriver Has, who has won a bumper and scored on the Flat, has some smart form in big fields over timber and has to be considered along with Steel Cap, an impressive bumper winner at Kilbeggan. Winning point-to-pointer Zero Ten did well to win a bumper here in July and should do even better over hurdles while Suinda, another bumper winner, should improve from her two hurdles runs. The latter's stable companion THRONES GAME, five times a winner on the Flat in France, can make her pace count before the ground starts getting too heavy and is taken to make a successful debut.
