Verdict

UN BEAU ROMAN's close second to Bally Longford over the trip at the Festival was a cracking performance and he can go one better and double his winning tally over fences. Mr Fiftyone was only just behind and has since run well at Killarney so should get into the frame but Devils Bride, who looked a smart prospect last summer, hasn't made the expected progress in her two latest starts. The veteran Valours Minion didn't enjoy the heavy going at Ballinrobe and is better than that but Tribes And Banner is much better handicapped over hurdles.
