In depth

Verdict

Maysonette makes a quick reappearance after a very promising run on fast ground at the Curragh on Saturday, where she stayed on strongly. Today's going should be more to her liking as it should be for Dochasach. Jim Bolger's filly wasn't beaten far over an extended 1m1f at Gowran last month and her trainer must believe she'll be suited by dropping back in trip. The four-year-old Pure Action has now had seven starts without getting her head in front and looks exposed and though Cascavelle showed potential in her first campaign she hasn't run since October and has changed stables. Her original handler, Dermot Weld, saddles the newcomer ESPOIR D'SOLEIL here, and the daughter of Galileo, a half-sister to Group 1 winner Casual Conquest amongst others, is taken to make a successful start in a race that may not take much winning.
